Arguably, America’s best race action series got underway in the air-conditioned comfort of the Orleans Arena, located in America’s gambling mecca-Las Vegas. Of course, outside the temps hovered at around 112 degrees.

The opening race saw defending Geico Endurocross champion, Red Bull/KTM rider Taddy Blazusiak, take the win ahead of multi-time Trials champ, Geoff Aaron, aboard his Christini backed KTM. Look for the battle between these two riders to heat up as the season heats up. Read the rest of this entry »

mx13finalStory and Photos by Seth Fargher

When it comes to freestyle motocross Justin Homan has one of the longest running careers of all time.  A true OG, Justin has been around since the early days and helped found the sport with the likes of Brian Deegan and Mike Metzger.  Though he’s competed all over the globe and has the medals to prove it, Justin’s approach to this sport, and life in general, is much different than that of his fellow FMX riders.

Justin left the dirtbike scene in the early 90’s to attend college at the University of Washington, Seattle School of Business.  His reentry into the sport came some time later after accepting an invitation to watch a fellow mountain bike friend race at a local motocross track.  From there Justin made a second attempt at Read the rest of this entry »

March 1st, 2010

worcs-x-short-no-shadowRound #2 of the WORCS Bike Series was at the same location at the same time on a completely different track right next to the ATV track, with one small exception.  The Bike and ATV during the Pro Race would be entering the Pro Pits on one end and exiting at the following end.  Meaning the Quads and the Bikes were racing side by side on the same course for a short period of time.

Once the exited the pits the track rounted them back to the start finish line, through the timing chute and back onto their respective tracks.  Unlike the ATV right next door the action up front was a bit spread out.  The start of the race is a bit differnt as Read the rest of this entry »
