The King of the Hammers in it’s short 4 year life has become the pinnacle event in rock sports. It is the marriage of two unlikely spouses, the technical and precise sport of rock crawling and the wide open high speed sport of desert racing. This single race has turned the offroad industry upside down forcing manufacturers to get on the bus or get run over by it. I mean, who would have thought that you’d see rock crawlers with triple bypass shocks?
But KOH is more than just a race, it’s an experience, so if you’re there for just the race, you’ve missed the point. To fully experience what KOH is you need to see it all, so come for the whole week, set up camp, get comfortable, and enjoy the ride.
