Round #2 of the WORCS Bike Series was at the same location at the same time on a completely different track right next to the ATV track, with one small exception.  The Bike and ATV during the Pro Race would be entering the Pro Pits on one end and exiting at the following end.  Meaning the Quads and the Bikes were racing side by side on the same course for a short period of time.

Once the exited the pits the track rounted them back to the start finish line, through the timing chute and back onto their respective tracks.  Unlike the ATV right next door the action up front was a bit spread out.  The start of the race is a bit differnt as WORCS would now be implementing a dead engine start with tracks without the gates.  Kawasaki’s Justin Soule (#762) would get be the first to start the bike and get the needed holeshot.  Behind him was FMF/KTM’s Kurt Caselli (#66), Caselli would pass Soule for 1st Place early on in the race and check-out from the rest of the pack for the remainder of the 2hr Race.

Valli Motorsports Kyle Summer’s (#71) had a great start and would tuck into the 3rd spot early in the race, but would have issues, ending his day early.  Kawasaki’s Ricky Dietrick (#39) would have the worst start as his bike wouldn’t fire getting him out in dead last, after 2-3 kicks to start the motor.  Dietrick would had his work cut out from him as the track was extremely sandy, whooped out and hard to pass.  Dietrick would put his head down and work his way all the way back to the 3rd Spot before the day was out.

Soule would battle a few laps with Dietrick at the end of the race, eventually winning the 3 lap battle taking home the 2nd Spot for the Weekend.
