Lazer Star introduces new LED light bar series

February 10, 2012 (Paso Robles, CALIF)  – – -Lazer Star has released a new series of LED light bars for off-road vehicles. Outfitted with the newest Cree LED technology, each light bar in the LX LED series is IP68 rated – meaning that they are completely dust-tight and watertight – as well as 8.6g shock-resistant. Each light has a polycarbonate lens, slide track mount, and DC 9-32V input. The LED light bars are low-draw with no hot spots. Read the rest of this entry »

Victims Family Members to Join in Unveiling Ceremony Held in Conjunction with Opening of Expo

WHAT: Off-Road fans, racers, volunteers and friends and family members of the victims will gather on opening day at the 2010 Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo for the unveiling of the California 200 Memorial Monument, a large scale statue designed to honor the victims of the recent desert race accident where eight were killed and 12 injured. This unveiling will give families of the victims, supporters, friends and the entire off-road community an opportunity to reflect on this terrible tragedy. The monument is comprised of comprised of stainless steel and is eight feet tall. The public can all make their mark on the monument as well by signing the adjacent wall to show their support for victims and their families. After the public unveiling Saturday morning, the statue and the wall will remain on display throughout the weekend at the expo. Read the rest of this entry »

The King of the Hammers in it’s short 4 year life has become the pinnacle event in rock sports. It is the marriage of two unlikely spouses, the technical and precise sport of rock crawling and the wide open high speed sport of desert racing. This single race has turned the offroad industry upside down forcing manufacturers to get on the bus or get run over by it. King of the Hammers has grown into a weeklong event in 2010 which will offer even more opportunities for drivers and spectators alike. Plans are in the works to build on last years theme of off-road industry related workshops, meet and greets, vendor area and more.
