ATV TRAINING FOR KIDS: A CLASS THAT PAYS FOR ITSELF

Press Release: (October 6, 2010) Since new laws regarding children riding ATVs on public lands were implemented nearly 3 years ago, it is now becoming easier to comply with them while at the Imperial Sand Dune Recreation Area (ISDRA) because of the availability of ATV safety training. And, not a moment too soon! As the opposition pushes to ban ATV use by children under the age of 16, “statistics” fuel their effort. By following the law and instilling good judgment upon our children, we can reduce accidents that sometimes lead to hospital visits. Victims Family Members to Join in Unveiling Ceremony Held in Conjunction with Opening of Expo

WHAT: Off-Road fans, racers, volunteers and friends and family members of the victims will gather on opening day at the 2010 Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo for the unveiling of the California 200 Memorial Monument, a large scale statue designed to honor the victims of the recent desert race accident where eight were killed and 12 injured. This unveiling will give families of the victims, supporters, friends and the entire off-road community an opportunity to reflect on this terrible tragedy. The monument is comprised of comprised of stainless steel and is eight feet tall. The public can all make their mark on the monument as well by signing the adjacent wall to show their support for victims and their families. After the 12th Annual Sand Sports Super Show on September 17th, 18th, and 19th of 2010, a debate about DWI Clothing was sparked through an online forum. Only a few days after the thread started, there were over 20,000 views and 200 comments on this topic. All this began as a member of [The Online forum] posted a picture of the logo and started an online argument that is still festering. New company in the off road apparel and novelty industry has a unique story. It started out as a campfire idea and has now turned into a brand. DWI has a unique logo and brand. They are all about having fun and being unconventional.

DWI has a unique logo & name and are proud of it. They offer off road apparel and novelty items, such as: shirts, hats, lighters, stickers, shot glasses, and party favors. They are considered offensive in some circles. “Our brand is fun and unconventional. We love off roading and love to laugh,” says Melissa DeWeese, President of DWI Clothing.

We received a call at Roll Design regarding a suspension upgrade to Elka’s for a young girl Raptor 250, who’s age will not be revealed as it may or may not conflict with the sticker on the bike. Her Dad wanted her to not only be able to hang with the other kids she rides against when they create their little race tracks at the dunes, but also to increase the safety factor.
