This past weekend Gorman played host to the final round of the highly contested 2011 D37 AMA Big 6 GP series. The course was a mix of high speed 2 track, canyon single track and motocross terrain. Colton Udall and Timmy Weigand were on hand to race the open, 4 stroke and team race.

JCR/Honda’s Kendall Norman wins the 2010 rebirth of the famed Catalina GP!
December 17th, 2010With combined efforts from the District 37 Big 6 Grand Prix clubs, the city of Avalon and many others, made possible the seemingly impossible task of bringing this unique event back to life. The Catalina GP hadn’t taken place since 1958. 52 years later, the small Island off the coast of Long Beach, California once again was the setting of this picturesque, historic event and had capital COOL written all over it.
