GLEN HELEN DROPS OUT OF AMA NATIONALS

ghlogo3d1Glen Helen Raceway regretfully announces that it will not host Round two of AMA 250/450 Nationals on May 29, 2010.

There has been long negotiations between MX Sports and Glen Helen Raceway in regards to the event. As a previous host of more than 14 AMA Nationals and three GP’s over the last 20 years, Glen Helen has proven to be a world class venue (and so do the fans who have flooded the gates in large numbers over the years). MAXXIS IS THE TITLE SPONSOR OF NEW ENDUROCROSS AT GLEN HELEN RACEWAY!

maxxis_logoGlen Helen Raceway is very excited about the new title sponsor of the first ever Endurocross at Glen Helen, Maxxis Tire. Glen Helen debuted its new Endurocross track at the Prairie Dog GP on March 6th. Although the rain came down, the event was very successful and had a great review.

The track took over three months to complete. It has all the obstacles you can image from rocks, sand, logs and a steep hill. The Glen Helen staff did a wonderful job on the track and this will be a event you will NOT want to miss!!!! Read the rest of this entry »

2010 ITP QUADCROSS SERIES IS SET TO TAKE OFF MARCH 14th

The 9th year of the ITP Quadcross series is going to start at Glen Helen March 14.  This year’s event will be more exciting! With the help of Yamaha and ITP, there will be entertainment and racing throughout weekend at each event.

The DWT World ATV MX Championship series head to Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA this weekend for Round 3 and 4 of the (8) round series.  The opening round was claimed by (2) east coast riders, #44-Chad Wienen riding his Motoworks Can-Am machine to a 1-1 finish in the opening round.  However Sunday’s round would see a new winner atop the podium with the Honda of #20 Josh Upperman of Balwin Motosports dominating the field and taking the 1-1 clinching Round 2.  Read the rest of this entry »

BAJA CUP CHALLENGE SEASON FINALE RESCHEDULED FOR JAN. 9

San Bernardino, Calif. – The season finale of the 2009 Baja Cup Challenge Off-Road Racing Series has been rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010 at Glen Helen Raceway. The Baja Cup Challenge is an off-road competition designed for desert-style trucks and buggies that pits man and machine versus a 4.5 mile natural and man-made race course.

ITP 6 Hour Endurance Rescheduled for 12/19/09

ITP 6 Hour Endurance Rescheduled for 12/19/09
Due to over 5” inches of rain last weekend, the ITP 6 Hour Endurance Race has been reschedule from December 13th to this Saturday, December 19, 2009.

The event will start at 9am to 3pm on Saturday.  The course should be awesome since we did have a large amount of rain that should help out the course after a few days of dry weather.

Gate fees $10 adult and children 6-12 yrs $5.  Entry fees are $90 per team 3 riders and two bikes per team, or $45 for the Ironman class.
