Walsh Race Craft & Jeremy Laswson 3rd Overall at GNC round 8 PVR

July 16th, 2010

walsh-atv-logo-250Jeremy was on a brand new LT-R450 we had just finished assembling on Thursday around midnight, just in time to leave for the race.

This weekend started off just like most of our weekends. Saturday practice went well, we tuned the quad and got ready for Sunday morning qualifying. Sunday morning went well, but nothing special, as Jeremy finished the practice in 9th place. However this would prove nothing.

Moto One: At the drop of the gate things didn’t look so well as Jeremy had a terrible reaction off the sticky concrete at PVR. Joe Byrd was in 3rd place at this time and Jeremy was focused on moving forward. Within a few more laps Jeremy caught and had a little battle with Byrd, Jeremy tried to pass Byrd in an off camber Read the rest of this entry »

IT WILL USE PORTIONS OF THE UPCOMING USGP CIRCUIT ~ LOTS OF NEW STUFF AND SOME SURPRISES!

With the World Two-Stroke Championship scheduled for this Sunday, Glen Helen has been busy working on track designs for this weekend’s race, the May 16th $25,000 National warm-up race and the May 30th USGP (not to mention the weekly Thursday practices). The turn around the “twin trees” has been widen in both directions for Thursday. This should allow two lines in and two lines around the left that leads to the front straight. Two-Stroke riders will go to the top of Mt. Saint Helen (and face a surprise at the bottom).

The Log Cabin jump has been put back into the track, which means that Talladega will be used on every lap.

The second turn (after Talladega) no longer goes straight, but turns 240-degrees and goes over a tabletop before turning left to go up Shoei Hill. Read the rest of this entry »
