WORCS: Update for this Weekends Giant throwdown

The two race tracks for this weekend are now complete and we are extremely pleased. The desert terrain behind Buffalo Bills has provided us with a 5.2 mile ATV course and another separate 5 mile motorcycle course.  The ATV course will use the CORE truck track and the surrounding desert and the motorcycle course is 100% desert. A large portion of the desert course has been left virgin and the other half is cut very similar to Racetown 395’s off road. Rain is in the forecast for Friday night and if it does the conditions will be epic. Read the rest of this entry »

KTM’s Doug Eichner Retires from WORCS ATV Racing

Murrieta, CA (2/2/2010) – Less than a month ago, KTM announced a 2010 partnership with legendary ATV racer, Doug Eichner, to race the WORCS and ITP Quadcross Series, but sadly, Eichner has since decided to step away from racing full-time in 2010 and focus on his family.

As many probably know, Doug Eichner, suffered a serious head on wreck with John Natalie at Glen Helen for round 7 of the 2009 WORCS Series, which left Eichner with several broken ribs, lacerated liver, and two broken wrist. Read the rest of this entry »

DWT World Motocross ATV Racing Series Website Released

The official site of the new series, put on by WORCS promoter Sean Reddish, is loaded with information on this new and highly anticipated series. The site includes race dates, track information, series officials contact info, and also gives racers the opportunity to pre-register for events.
