FROM GRANT LANGSTON:

“Hey Guys,
I wanted to send out an update to everyone now that we are taking a break from West Coast and heading to the East Coast. As many of you know before Anaheim 1 I hadn’t raced supercross in about 2 years. There was a whole new group of young talent that I had never raced against, I didn’t know if my eye or knee were up to racing standard, and I was on a new bike with a new team; so it was very hard for me to make goals for the season. But I

figured some realistic goals were to qualify each weekend, stay injury free, and progress from one weekend to the next.
The JLaw team didn’t come together for me until pretty late in the off-season. The team and I have been working together to try get the bike dialed in as well as getting my speed and endurance up. The amount of progress we have made in the short amount of time is really great. Anaheim 1 went well, I got a 10th place finish. We have continued to make changes to our program; I truly believe that the bike speed is improving as well as my fitness. We have all the ingredients to pull out some consistent finishes for the rest of the season; they just all need to come together each race day.

I am excited for the East Coast rounds to begin. It has been even longer since I have raced East Coast, but a change will be fun. There is new weather, new dirt, and new stadiums on the East Coast. The dirt is stickier and makes for a more rutted out track for sure. Hopefully I can keep my momentum going and continue with consistent top ten finishes.
Hope to see some of you guys at the races. Please come up and say hi to me in the pits. And thank you to everyone who has supported me, and continues to support me through my racing career!”
