Corona, California (Feb 11, 2010) – With an infusion of support led by the addition of Rockstar Energy Drink, ReadyLIFT Suspension, Magnaflow Exhaust and CANIDAE All Natural Pet Foods to an already powerful sponsorship pool, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series will pay out over three quarters of a million dollars in purse winnings during the 2010 season.
Over the eight weekend season, featuring fifteen rounds of racing, drivers will be vying for a combined, year end championship purse total of two hundred thousand dollars. Series Race Director, Tony Vanillo, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming season. “We had an unbelievably successful inaugural year. Parlaying that momentum into these partnerships developed during the off season allows us to provide our drivers and teams with a fantastic purse payout. With the backing of Lucas Oil and our amazing group of sponsors we have the opportunity to present our teams with a significant championship payday.”
This combined payout represents a seventeen percent increase in the championship purses that were awarded at the conclusion of the inaugural 2009 season. The series has developed into one of the cornerstones of Lucas Oil Products motorsports marketing efforts.
