SNCC off-road Racing – Charleston WV Served Mud & Rain!

April 22nd, 2011

Super National Cross Country RacingSNCC finally made it back from the Charleston, WV race course!!! Boy was it a lot of cleanup! Saturday Morning Mother Nature tossed us a big Bucket of large amounts of refreshing water! LOL It wasn’t very refreshing to our racers and staff! But look at the bright side, the grass is getting greener!

SNCC saw lots of Rain at Round 3

The large amounts of rain killed the racer turn out! But several racers were troopers and came out and challenged one of the worse race tracks when it is wet! However I don’t blame racers that said ill stay home on this one!!

If I could of, I would have been setting back in a nice warm dry house as well! But hare scramble is hare scramble and we go racing rain or shine!

On Saturday which is ATV / QUAD day things were real muddy and tough! Off the start racers had to blast through a mud hole and after that it was all up hill from there! At about mile marker 1, we had a muddy problem area that tied up some of our racers in a bottle neck! After pushing and pulling several racers up out of the mud and to the top of the hill! Here came MR BRADEN HENTHORN! HENTHORN hit the problem area like Super Man! Air born and wide open! Wow that kid is real good! It was good to see Henthorn lineup at the SNCC this weekend!

In our Super Pro Quad class we all watched BRIAN WOLF and WALKER FOWLER battle it out in what they called a fun race! Before hitting scoring there was a long drop off wall, it was amazing to see Wolf and Fowler sailing off that air born jumping half way down it! After battling the 3 foot deep mud ruts and all the bottle necks, BRIAN WOLF took the checker flag at Round 3 of the SNCC!

On another note SNCC’s Jullian Davis in our Quad women’s class has been putting tread to the dirt! From the mud to the dry dirt, Jullian doesn’t let a tough areas stop her!

On Sunday things dried up a little but not much! As we released the youth bikes Sunday morning things were very tough and we applaud these youth racers for challenging this course!

Kentucky’s JARED WHITAKER of Fly Racing took the win on Sunday in our Adult Bike Super Pro class followed by West Virginia’s Nathen Thornhill!
SAM EVANS is getting super fast! As we watched him battle the ruts and mud Sunday, we realized how much he has grown up over the last few years! Watch out for Evans! He defiantly is not holding back!

Several class winners picked up all kinds of prizes! From Cardio Surge to award winning certificates and money!

That’s it for now folks, Stay tuned for Awesome breaking news on our next round coming up mothers day weekend!
