HUSQVARNA MOTORCYCLES NA EXPANDS STAFF

Jeff Konicke Named Dealer Relations Representative

May 19, 2010 – Woodcliff Lake, NJ – Husqvarna Motorcycles NA is proud to announce the addition of Jeff Konicke as the new Dealer Relations Representative for the western region. In this new role, Konicke’s primary responsibility will be to manage the ever growing Husqvarna Dealer network in all aspects of dealer support, including sales, after sales and service. The increase in staff is in response to Husqvarna’s growth in motorcycle sales and rejuvenated dealer network.

“Jeff has already proven to be a great addition to our team,” notes Mark Brady, president of Husqvarna Motorcycles North America. “His passion for off-road motorcycling coupled with his industry experience with KTM and SPY Optic are important assets that will help improve our communications with our dealers.”

Brady believes that is it vitally important to have someone with Konicke’s skills and industry knowledge to relate to the dealers in his territory. “Jeff will be more than just a voice on a phone, he will also be the face of our company to our dealers in the west. Our future is connected directly to the development of our current dealer network. Jeff has a vital role to fill to help us achieve this objective.”

Konicke, 29, will be servicing the 27 Husqvarna dealers in the western region. “I’m really excited about the opportunity to work with Husqvarna and its dealer network. I look forward to building on Husqvarna’s rich heritage and being a part of the brand’s success in the future.” claims Konicke. “As the primary point of contact and information on Husqvarna’s products, programs and systems, I want the dealers to know that I’m here to assist them in any way. On the track and in the showroom Husqvarna is on pace… it is an exciting time to be a part of the company.”

Jeff will be based in California, but will be traveling extensively throughout his territory in the coming months. He joins long time Husqvarna sales fixture Rob Keith, and Travis Flowers who will manage the northeast/midwest and southeast/south central territories for Husqvarna respectively.
